Nightly Menorah Lightings together with AEPi- 6 pm, every night of Chanukah @ AEPi (Wednesday, 7pm after the Grand Menorah Lighting.)

Not allowed to light a menorah in your dorm or apartment? No problem! Chabad has arranged for AEPi to be open for all CMU students to come and light a menorah each night of Chanukah. Plenty of menorahs and Chanukah goodies will be available.

Car Menorah Parade and Concert- Tuesday, Rodef Shalom to the Waterfront

Come and witness Pittsburgh’s Annual Car Menorah Parade which will spread the light of Chanukah throughout the city. About 100 cars with Menorahs on top will drive from Rodef Shalom’s parking lot on Morewood Ave. and Fifth Ave. at 5 pm and end up at the Waterfront (under the bridge near Macy’s) for a Chanukah Festival and concert. A Menorah lighting will take place around 6 pm, followed by the concert. Food will be available for university students in the Chabad on Campus tent. All other food can be purchased from the vendors.

Grand Menorah Lighting at The Fence- Wednesday, 6 pm @ The Fence

Copy of Chanukah 2017.jpgThe CMU Jewish community will unite for a Grand Menorah Lighting this Wednesday night, Dec. 13, 6 pm at The Fence. Provost Laurie Weingart and other CMU faculty members will light the menorah followed by Chanukah music, hot apple cider, latkes and donuts! Don’t miss it!

Chanukah Shabbat Dinner

Join us for a Chanukah themed Shabbat dinner with home-made latkes, and all the other special Shabbat foods.
