Purim - February 28th - March 1st 2018 

Purim is a holiday that is celebrated every year to commemorate the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia from Haman’s plot “to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day.” For more info about the story and the four mitzvot of Purim, check out www.chabadofcmu.com/Purim. Don’t miss the holiday events happening this year on campus!

Purim banner 2.jpg Grand Purim Party- Wed., February 28, 7:00-9:30 pm, @ AEPI CMU

Come join AEPI, Chabad at CMU and Hillel for a huge Purim celebration that you won't want to miss. The night will be filled with laughter, dancing, schmuzing and much more! Live band, appetizers and soft drinks will be provided. Come at 7:00 pm to hear the reading of the Megillah! Join us as we preform the other Purim mitzvot of Matonaot L'evyonim and Mishloach Manot (giving money to the poor and food packages to your friends.)

Don't forget to come in costume for a chance to win prizes! 

Bagels, Lox and Megillah- Thurs., March 1st, 12:30 pm in the Chapel foyer (CUC, 1st fl.)

Come hear the megillah being read, followed by a bagel lunch.
