Join Chabad of CMU for a weekend with Dr. Arnie Gotfryd. Dr. Gotfryd is both an acclaimed ecologist and an observant Jew. A renowned writer, educator, and lecturer, he specializes in understanding secular and religious perspectives from both sides of the fence. In 1985, he earned Canada’s first doctorate in Applied Ecology and served as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Toronto, winning numerous academic awards. His informative and inspiring presentations are peppered with personal anecdotes, new discoveries and fresh insights in religion.

Mr. Yaacov Parisi, a former Evangelical Christian Pastor, will share his fascinating story of his search for truth. As pastors of their own church in the Bible Belt, he and his wife embarked on a journey to search for answers in their own religion but found themselves at the doorsteps of Judaism, instead. Mr. Parisi is an engaging speaker, and his story is one that is both inspiring and entertaining.
